There are a wide range of shopping centres and shops surrounding the hotel. We have Acorn Road and Clayton Street which are only a few minutes walk from the hotel. For the larger shopping centres, there is Eldon Square which is a 15 minute walk away or Metro Centre which is around 15 minutes drive. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping in Newcastle!
Sports
For the sporting fanatics, Newcastle is the home of the famous Newcastle United Football Club. Based in the city centre, it is only a 20-25 minute walk from the Hotel. Also, Newcastle is renowned for the Rugby team, Newcastle Falcons which is worth a visit!
Quayside
The Quayside is a great place to visit which is situated next to the River Tyne. It has a lot of lovely bars and restaurants to visit for the whole family! Situated across the Millennium Bride is The Sage and The Baltic which are both great attractions!

There are many historic attractions nearby. You might fancy a walk along Hadrians wall or visiting The Angel of the North which has become one of the most talked about pieces of public art ever produced since spreading its wings in February 1998.
